Immigration Deportation

Immigration Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) Holds and Deportation Procedure

Upon the adoption of the Patriot Act on October 26, 2001 the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was born thus creating three agencies: Customs Border Patrol (CBP); Citizenship Immigration Services (CIS) and Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), formerly Immigration Naturalization Services (INS). This law office focuses on representing individuals subject to the protocol of ICE usually resulting in an ICE hold.

There is nothing more shocking and confusing then to have a loved one taken into custody by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE). It is never shy of a harrowing event by virtue of the fact that no communication is permissible to lessen the impact of the interrogation, arrest and detainer.
